Commercial Counsel will play a key role as part of the legal/business team, negotiating and closing technology contracts with Fortune 500 customers and global partners and having responsibility for related compliance and other corporate matters. This role will have significant responsibility related to the operation of the combined company's commercial efforts, with a focus on transactions for product licensing, maintenance and support services, reseller arrangements, and other strategic partnerships, as well as procurement. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, the experienced lawyer in this role must be able to think strategically and apply sound judgment to critical corporate projects.
