Associate Litigation Counsel will be responsible for managing and supporting various litigation matters worldwide, as well as providing day-to-day legal advice to a variety of business units within the company. Litigation matters may include class action lawsuits, breach of contract and other business disputes, informal and formal investigations by government agencies, and/or responding to third-party subpoenas. Among other things, he or she will develop case strategy, manage outside counsel, issue legal holds, develop budgets and forecasts, review and approve pleadings, attend depositions and court hearings, coordinate discovery, implement procedures to minimize future litigation risk, and provide legal advice to business units on a wide variety of “pre-litigation” issues arising from business-as-usual activities.
