The Regulatory Counseling Group staff is primarily responsible for providing and/or coordinating proactive and reactive advice and counsel to company business units (including the Legal Department itself) with respect to regulatory requirements related to the respective units’ functions and processes, and to provide timely advice and counsel on developments in industry rules and regulations as they may impact the respective units’ functions and processes. In practice, this means serving as the principal point of contact in connection with requests for regulatory advice and counsel.
