The Associate General Counsel’s primary role will be to advise Investments, one of the world’s largest institutional fixed income investors, with respect to the investment activities of the Houston-based Private Placements business unit, with emphasis on privately placed debt transactions, including secured and unsecured investment grade corporate financings, second lien, unitranche and mezzanine investments, project financings, direct originations, 144A transactions, structured financings, leveraged lease and credit tenant lease transactions. This is a dynamic, high-profile and client-facing position for a self-starting lawyer willing to dive in to a number of new and challenging projects. Independently structure, negotiate and draft a broad range of agreements in support of directly-originated private fixed income transactions, including proposal letters, term sheets, and commitment letters.
