Attorney responsible for advising mortgage businesses, including conventional originations and home equity lending, on a wide variety of significant legal and regulatory issues. This position may be located in either Riverwoods, IL or Irvine, CA. Specific responsibilities include: Consulting with and advising senior business unit management on complex legal issues involving all aspects of mortgage lending, including: product development, licensing, marketing, underwriting, marketing agreements and marketing strategy, and servicing operations including loss mitigation, loan collection, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
