Provide legal advice and guidance to management, departments and staff on regulations and legal guidelines specific to our industry (secured lending as an auto-title lender) in the funding, servicing, marketing, and regulatory spaces. Provide strategic legal guidance that facilitates the introduction of new products and our expansion into new territories. Ensure corporate compliance to CFPB and relevant regulator requirements. Perform and supervise legal research and analysis on various legal issues relating to the acquisition and servicing of consumer finance. Supervise and manage outside counsel including legal costs, fees and budgets.
