As the Chief Legal Officer and member of the Presidential Executive Cabinet, the General Counsel will provide advice and support to the University Board of Trustees, President, and Administration. The incumbent reports directly to the University Board of Trustees and functions under the general direction of the President who provides direction with assignments in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. Provides answers on questions of legal interpretation regarding the effect policies, plans and actions on the University as an independent agency of the District of Columbia.
