The Chief Counsel is responsible for coordinating and directing the work of the Legal Department. The Chief Counsel oversees and performs a wide variety of complex legal work on behalf of organization and its members. Handle the most complex legal matters. Assist the Talent Management Department with personnel issues. Advise and represent the organization with internal staff union matters, including collective bargaining and arbitrations. Advise senior management regarding legal matters, including but not limited to the Union policy file, collective bargaining, personnel issues, and application of laws to Union governance.
