Reporting to Senior Vice President of Marine Operations, the VP of Risk Management is responsible for: Overseeing the medical services in a cost efficient way providing high quality care for the crew and the guests and taking efficiency improvement actions and steps for reduced severity and number of related guest and crew claims. Overseeing the occupational safety department including analyzing existing and potential occupational safety hazards and actual guest and crew accidents taking robust and proactive steps to constantly reduce the crew and guest accident frequency as well as the severity and number of related claims. Overseeing claims litigation ensuring timely and cost efficient operations in close collaboration with the medical and occupational safety teams.
