Provide legal counsel and representation to East management and project teams in the region regarding large and complex transactions and ongoing operations to ensure compliance with legal requirements, to support company’s strategic business plan, and to identify and avoid potential legal issues/concerns. The successful candidate will be involved in legal matters covering the breadth of the East region’s assets and activities, including matters involving the region’s power plants, development projects and regulatory policy. Provide counsel to management and project teams in the East region on joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, asset dispositions, litigation, and all aspects of the development of new power generation projects (including potentially natural gas pipelines, natural gas conversions, combined cycle gas and solar facility construction, etc.)
