The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for a wide range of transactional, litigation, policy development, and legal advisory functions in support of the employer. The Assistant General Counsel will handle, manage and advise on legal issues for the University's administration and faculty and, as requested, for the Board of Trustees and its Committees. Will be responsible for legal and policy matters involving contract, not-for-profit, regulatory, compliance, tax, real estate, intellectual property, risk management, research support, health law/HIPAA, conflict of interest and other issues as they arise.
