This position is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to the Customer Experience and Merchandising organizations in connection with advertising, regulatory and compliance issues of all types related to contracts, global sourcing and procurement, licensing, and intellectual property. Provide appropriately targeted counsel to client groups on legal issues related to the following areas: online sales of product and services; advertising, promotions and rebates; sweepstakes and contests; global sourcing and product development and certain intellectual property. Manage strategy and critical decisions concerning litigation and administrative agency charges and proceedings related to importation, advertising and sales of products in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico; including the retention and management of outside counsel and experts.
