Company is seeking an attorney with experience as a corporate generalist (preferably, in-house) to draft, review and negotiate contracts for complex commercial transactions and to provide advice and guidance on a variety of other legal matters affecting the operations of the company and its affiliated companies. This position reports to the company’s General Counsel and is based in our Chicago office. Work with company sales and product management personnel to draft, negotiate and counsel on data, research and software licensing, data aggregation arrangements and other commercial contracts (e.g., confidentiality agreements) related to the product/services company makes available to its clients in the United States and abroad.
