S/he will report to the Chief Executive Officer, serve as the Corporate Secretary and deal extensively with the Board of Directors (the “Board”). The General Counsel will be expected to deliver seamlessly premier services and support to internal customers. S/he will have lead responsibility for the selection, retention and management of outside counsel. Advice, advocacy and other services must be provided to all members of the organization within that context. The General Counsel must have sound business sense and be equally adept at holistic risk management through realistic assessment and the development of creative and pragmatic solutions to encountered dilemmas.
