This position will be responsible for managing the intellectual property matters of several therapeutic areas critical to the Company’s success. The role will report to the Chief I.P. Counsel and will include responsibilities for the management and development of I.P. counsel (both biologics and small molecules), as well as the creation and implementation of I.P. strategies for the therapeutic areas being managed. Additional responsibilities include counseling senior Company business leaders, patent portfolio management, outside counsel budgets and performance, I.P. competitive intelligence, and performing and managing I.P. support for business transactions. Relevant experience in both a law firm and in-house setting is preferred.
