This very exciting and challenging position will report directly to the General Counsel for the Americas, and will be responsible for handling a broad range of legal issues, including complex litigation, contract negotiations, legal support of business initiatives, counseling of company management, implementation of internal compliance programs, and training. This position will also be responsible to assist in the startup and ongoing management of the legal department. At the outset this will include establishing processes and procedures for the legal department, developing forms and other supporting documents, implementing a case and matter management system, and other activities necessary to support the successful establishment and ongoing administration of a state of the art legal department.
