Provides direction, guidance, and assistance on legal matters related to company and its operating entities within a specific area of expertise including, but not limited to, taxation, long term care, health networks, acquisitions/divestitures, physician contracts, employment/regulatory compliance and general corporate healthcare law. Serves as an experienced high-level specialist with responsibility for an important aspect of the organization’s legal work, regularly interfaces with senior management and key administrators on legal problems/issues relative to a particular area of specialization or expertise and may provide functional training/guidance to less-experienced attorneys. This level represents the most senior skill level with little or no supervisory responsibility.
