Provides basic legal services in the areas of dispute management, transaction services, compliance, advice and counsel, intellectual property or other specialized area as assigned, and supervision/leadership. Often works under the direction of a senior attorney, learning about the company and the law applicable to company’s businesses. Consistent with departmental policy for litigation management and involvement of litigation managers: assesses and manages disputes, applying applicable law to the facts of the dispute. Participates in dispute resolution activities that are led by more senior attorneys. Assists with providing factual input for formulation of litigation strategy. Responsible for working with outside counsel, if needed.
