Provide advice and counsel on a daily basis regarding various HR related topics to company management and HR team. Understand US employment-related laws and legal issues, including but not limited to: Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA compliance, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, classification of employees, labor/employee relations, restrictive covenants and policy development and implementation in support of those laws. Oversee the investigation and preparation of responses to administrative charges and/or complaints filed with the DOL, EEOC, and various state and local civil rights agencies, including the supervision and management of outside counsel, as necessary.
