Under the General Counsel’s oversight, the Vice President – Litigation will manage and direct all of the Company’s and its affiliates’ litigation and claims (except for employment-related claims). This includes creating and managing litigation and discovery strategies and building processes and programs to effectively and efficiently manage the costs of defense and the risk of loss in connection with these cases. The VP – Litigation will proactively identify lessons learned, risks and mitigating actions. The VP - Litigation will supervise internal and external litigation counsel handling commercial and guest liability matters, a claims team, a litigation paralegal, and a records specialist.
