This position reports to the Group Counsel – Global Litigation and Retail Law and will have responsibility for providing legal services to the corporation in the area of contracts (primarily in IT, but including, logistics, procurement, marketing, ecommerce, and other subject areas) and some limited retail law issues, primarily in the U.S. Included are a variety of contract law and negotiating issues related to advising the business and the IT department regarding hardware lease and purchases, software licenses, software-as-a-service (SAAS), installation and consulting services, statements of work, and some retail law issues. Issues include data security, indemnification, privacy, intellectual property rights, insurance, usage, and pricing.
