As an experienced transactional attorney, will work with company’s programming legal group to provide legal support, with a particular focus on supporting company’s Root Sport Networks, for programming and media rights acquisition and distribution deals. Will closely partner with business clients and internal cross functional teams to negotiate and finalize a large volume of complex deals. Will be responsible for structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements for the acquisition of media and sports rights, for the distribution of programming content, for licensing deals relating to media and sports rights, as well as providing support for a wide variety of company programming deals, including those relating to cable networks, sport subscriptions, major studio motion pictures, pay-per-view events, video-on-demand, subscription video on demand and interactive and digital media content.
