The Employment Counsel will provide employment-related legal counseling, including but not limited to, providing day-to-day employment and immigration-related advice and counsel, supporting and managing litigation and administrative charges and audits, interpreting laws and regulations and researching key legal questions as needed, negotiating employment contracts and agreements, conducting quarterly training for Human Resources on legal developments and some benefits/ERISA-related projects as assigned for client groups. The Employment Counsel will maintain a current in-depth knowledge with respect to all relevant federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. He/she will work closely with the Vice President of Employment Law and the Human Resources function at the Regional and Corporate levels.
