This position requires the skill, knowledge and judgment to interact effectively with senior management of the company on employment, labor and compliance issues that may significantly impact the company, as well as strong leadership skills and significant client interaction. Expertise in US employment-related laws and legal issues, including but not limited to: Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA compliance, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, reductions in workforce, classification of employees, labor/union relations and restrictive covenants. Provide counsel to human resources, responding to administrative charges, reviewing and/or drafting employment policies, reviewing bonus plans, negotiating and drafting employment agreements and other employment-related agreements (i.e., independent contractor, confidentiality, non-competition, etc.), conducting wage and hour audits.
