Responsibilities may include: providing legal advice to union officers, local leaders and staff organizers on strategic campaigns; handling unfair labor practices and wage and hour matters in connection with organizing campaigns, developing and pursuing creative legal strategies to aid organizing campaigns; implementing the Division’s organizing agreements; drafting proposed legislation, regulations, executive orders and other policy initiatives. The Associate General Counsel will be the lead counsel for organization’s Property Services Division, focusing on the following core industries: janitorial, security, airports and multi-services.
