Identify patentable & strategic inventions, and frame them for outside counsel. Supervise outside counsel in the preparation and prosecution of litigation-worthy patent assets. You will not draft patent applications from start to finish, but you will: Review, redirect, and revise outside counsel’s draft claims/applications as appropriate to produce litigation-worthy patents; and Review, redirect, and revise outside counsel’s claim amendments and prosecution strategy as appropriate to produce litigation-worthy patents. Assume rapidly increasing responsibility for managing the portfolio development operation as skillset and knowledge permits.
