Reporting to the Head of IP, this position provides legal/IP support to company’s Research & Development organization in San Diego. Day-to-day responsibilities include patent prosecution, client counseling, lifecycle management, product portfolio management, advising on complex business transactions, manages external partnerships, due diligence, licensing, publication review, trade secret matters, opinion work, litigation support and senior management counseling. This position also plays a strategic role as a business partner with company’s Research & Development, Regulatory and Business Development functions.
