A varied role focusing primarily on the negotiating and drafting of contracts. The subject matter of the majority of those contracts will relate to (i) company’s Asia Pacific and U.S. domestic X-Games businesses, (ii) U.S. domestic sports programming in Soccer, Cricket and Rugby and (ii) U.S. domestic production work. The Associate Principal Counsel will work closely with more senior members of the Legal Department, including two Deputy Chief Counsels, and provide legal advice to company employees, including potentially executives and senior management, within the areas of responsibility relating, among other things, to sports rights acquisition & syndication, digital media, traditional linear channel distribution and sports event and programming production.
