The General Counsel & Corporate Secretary will serve as a key member of the Business Services executive management team reporting directly to the CEO. This newly formed position will be responsible for directing all aspects of the Business Services’ legal and corporate secretarial function and providing counsel and guidance on all legal governance matters, including commercial legal affairs, intellectual property, public company securities, litigation, legal and ethical compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate secretarial activities, and business and government affairs. The General Counsel & Corporate Secretary will lead corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives, providing management with effective guidance on company strategies and their implementation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
