The Associate Principal Counsel will work closely with more senior members of the Legal Department, including two Deputy Chief Counsels, and provide legal advice to employees, including potentially executives and senior management, within the areas of responsibility relating, among other things, to sports rights acquisition & syndication, digital media, traditional linear channel distribution and sports event and programming production. Minimum of five (5) years’ industry experience negotiating and drafting contracts for a top tier law firm and/or corporate legal department, with transactional IP and general media experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex issues in order to devise solutions and successful strategies.
