This position will report to the Assistant General Counsel & Director in the Worldwide Sales Legal Team. The position will provide transactional support for the software licensing and consulting business in a designated region of the United States, provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients at all levels in the associated region, and support day-to-day initiatives and long-term strategies of the company. The position may be located in either Chicago, Illinois or Austin, Texas. Assess and advise on liabilities and legal restrictions and risks of proposed commercial transactions and devise creative and practical legal solutions to meet the commercial needs.
