To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Ten or more years of legal practice, including significant experience in a relevant in-house position and preferably including experience within a top law firm. Deep experience advising on transactional matters including commercial transactions (including advising on shipping and other commercial terms under the UCC), strategic partnerships, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities offerings.
