Litigation Counsel manages a docket that consists of commercial, toxic tort, credit and collections, real property and other similar litigation matters that arise in the ordinary course of a large, multinational chemical company. Managing this docket requires the following tasks: Intake new ordinary course litigation matters, evaluate for level of complexity and, together with the litigation paralegal, open new files. Conduct early case assessment and investigate as necessary including reviewing applicable documents and interviewing potential witnesses.
