The qualified candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating software licenses and other commercial transactions, in either a top tier law firm or in a mature in-house corporate setting; experience with open source software licensing and the embedded software industry are a strong plus. This attorney position is based at headquarters in Alameda CA, and will report to Legal Director, IP & Licensing. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who seeks a diverse set of challenges and enjoys the opportunity to regularly develop new skills and legal/business knowledge.
