The Associate General Counsel will provide support as a legal specialist in healthcare law primarily in the areas of regulatory law and business and professional contracting with an emphasis on physician contracting and transactions. Under the general supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and procedural control by the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will conduct research within the following areas: legal precedent, investigation of facts, gathers material and prepares legal documents. In addition the Associate General Counsel will provide support to the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel by conducting research and providing material necessary to support legal proceedings, formulate policies giving advice to department directors and administrators or other pertinent legal functions of the office.
