The VP of IP will have overall responsibility for intellectual property strategy and management within the organization, and will participate in transactional legal work related to licensing, collaboration agreements, supply agreements and other matters having significant intellectual property content. S/he will serve as liaison and manager of outside patent and trademark counsel, and supervise the work of our in-house patent agent. The incumbent will advise and inform senior management regarding patent prosecution matters and freedom-to-operate status.
