Under strategic direction of the General Counsel, the Compliance Attorney is a key member of a small but sophisticated law department. This candidate will provide legal advice and assistance to the corporation in all areas of operations including the development and oversight of a general compliance program that reviews, evaluates, and resolves compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The position ensures the Board of Trustees, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company’s rules of conduct.
