Handles various energy, environmental, finance as well as corporate legal matters such as: employment and labor relation matters, environmental, governmental regulations, and contractual agreements to mitigate company’s liability in the course of conducting business operations and/or to enhance its position depending on the circumstances. Responsible for identifying and analyzing legal issues, drafting key documents, and presenting clear recommendations. Assures legal compliance and guards against legal risks involving the organization. Stays abreast of existing and proposed legislation and applicable case law. The President will determine the goals and objectives for this position and will conduct annual performance reviews alongside providing ongoing feedback and mentoring.
