The General Counsel will lead corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and serve as the legal advisor to the senior leadership team and Board of Directors. The General Counsel will be expected to provide a proactive approach to solving legal issues and will provide senior management with effective legal advice on company strategies and their implementation, manage the legal function, and obtain and oversee the work of outside counsel. This position will be directly involved in complex business transactions in negotiating critical contracts, joint ventures or mergers and acquisitions.
