In collaboration with patients, families (as defined by the patient) and staff across all disciplines and departments is responsible for representing the organization in all legal matters and providing legal advice and counsel to the organization and its governing board on issues related to healthcare law. The Chief General Counsel will report directly to the CEO and will serve as member and work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), which includes the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the Chief Compliance Officer. Advise and consult with organizational leadership on all legal matters related to the operation of a primary care health clinic, including clinical issues, healthcare provider licensing and practice issues, employment issues, federal and state regulatory requirements, and grants requirements.
