The position of Corporate Counsel, Litigation will be responsible, under general supervision, for the day-to-day management of assigned cases and matters. The incumbent will assess incoming lawsuits, regulatory matters and pre-litigation claims to identify, develop and execute plans for resolution. Additionally, the incumbent will manage outside counsel, issue legal holds, develop budgets and forecasts, identify Company risk factors, review and approve pleadings, negotiate settlements, coordinate all aspects of discovery and implement new business practices resulting from litigation and/or other identified operational concerns.
